Mica Tape for Fire Resistant Cables with Glass Cloth on One Side (FRMG)

 

        The FRMG mica tape is a composite of mica paper (phlogopite or synthetic mica) and glass cloth.  The tape is reinforced by glass cloth on one side and bound together with the organosilicon binder of high thermal resistance. The high mica content (over 70%) of this tape make it a good fire resistant insulation. It is mainly used as an insulation layer for the fire resistant cables with plastic sheath.

Packing

1. The mica tape is wound on a paper core. (the diameter of core is a customer’s option).

2. The tape is sealed with a plastic bag and packed in a carton box.

3. The name, type, quantity and date of product are marked clearly on the box.

 

Note:

This mica tape is wound on the paper core with mica paper outside and the mica paper should be inside during the rewinding process for copper conductor (with PE film outside).
